In the last month alone, Crawford has assisted two separate clients with obtaining valid drivers licenses with no restrictions. One client had recently served a lenghty jail sentence for a third-degree felony charge of DWLSR (Driving While License Suspended or Revoked) in two different counties and was facing new charges. Crawford not only had the charges reduced to a misdemeanor infraction with no jail time and no further suspension of their driving privileges, he filed numerous petitions in multiple counties to reopen prior cases and had those convictions amended to allow for full reinstatement of the client's driving privileges. Crawford's client had not had a valid driver's license in more than 10 years.
In another case, Crawford's client was facing a nearly identical situation, however, in this case, his client had been improperly charged with DWLSR and had never owned a driver's license. Crawford filed motions to reopen several prior cases where the client had been improperly advised to enter guilty pleas. Once those charges were amended, Crawford's client was able to obtain a valid driver's license for the first time in his life.
